Enabling JavaScript in Netscape 6
Select Edit from the browser's toolbar, then select Preferences
from the pull-down menu that appears.
In the Preferences pop-up window appears, click Advanced in
the navigation. Tick the Enable JavaScript for Navigator checkbox.
Click OK to complete the process.
Enabling JavaScript in Netscape 4.0 +
Select Edit from the browser's toolbar, then select Preferences
from the pull-down menu that appears. Click Advanced, then
click the Enable JavaScript checkbox. Click OK to complete
the process.
Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 5.0+ and 6.0+
Click Tools from your browser's toolbar, then select Internet
Options from the pull-down menu that appears.
In the Internet Options pop-up window that appears, click Security
from the top selection. Click the Internet button from the
content area, then click Custom Level. The Security Settings
pop-up window appears. Scroll down to the Active Scripting
subtitle. Select Enable and click OK in the window, then click
OK again at the bottom of the Internet Options window to complete
the process.
Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 4.0+
Click View from the browser's toolbar, then select Internet
Options from the pull-down menu that appears.
In the Internet Options Explorer pop-up window that appears,
click Security in the top selection. Select the Internet icon
from the dropdown list. Select the Custom radio button and
click Settings. The Security Settings pop-up window appears.
Scroll down to the Active Scripting subtitle. Select Enable
and click OK in the window, then click OK again at the bottom
of the Internet Options window to complete the process.
How to check the browser version?
MS Internet Explorer
1. Select Help from the browser menu.
2. Select About Internet Explorer.
3. An information box appears. You will see which browser
version you have, in the first line.
Netscape Navigator
1. Select Help from the browser menu.
2. Select About Navigator/Communicator/Netscape.
3. An Netscape Information page opens. You will see which browser version
you have in the page header
